Born in Tehran, Iran, Saba Yazdjerdi (b. 1991) is a multifaceted architect and artist who intricately weaves her cultural heritage into her work through thoughtful use of objects, spaces, and materials.

Raised in Tehran, Yazdjerdi has cultivated a diverse and global perspective, having lived in Colorado, Rhode Island, Bangkok, New York, and California.

Driven by a fascination with the human experience, Yazdjerdi delves into themes of identity and belonging, seeking to not only embrace and preserve Iranian culture but also to celebrate and reinterpret it. Her work serves a dual purpose: reimagining her personal narrative while breathing new life into Iran's rich cultural legacy.

Yazdjerdi earned a Master of Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and a Bachelor's in Architecture from Shahid Beheshti University. As a practicing architectural designer, she has demonstrated versatility across various sectors, including cultural and residential spaces. Her portfolio boasts an array of projects, from galleries and museums to private residences, showcasing her ability to create meaningful and evocative environments.
